Richard Andrew Villalovos
Richard Villalovos, 62, passed away February 18, 2011, in Rochester, Washington. He was born June 6, 1948, in Yakima, Washington, to Emmanuel Villalovos and Diana Kathleen Nelson. He grew up in Yakima with his grandmother, and graduated from A.C. Davis High School. He was a laborer and community organizer in his youth, and served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era.
Richard was a loving, kind, witty, intelligent and easygoing man. He was an avid reader, sharp dresser, coffee connoisseur, and prankster. He loved spending time with his sons and grandsons, and talking with his Creator. He also loved walking and living “The Red Road.”
Richard is survived by sons, Andrew and Daniel of Chehalis, Washington; grandsons, Nicholas, Wyatt and Darwin; his brothers and sisters, Dean, Andie, Lynn, Jackie, Mary, Chicky, Cindy, Bernie, and Hjorordia; 32 nephews and nieces; 39 great nephews and nieces; and uncle, Tibursio. He was preceded in death by Grandma Nelson, his parents, sister Theresa, and granddaughter, Lexi.
