Obituary of Laurie Vasknetz

Laurie Jo (Paul) Vasknetz Laurie Jo Vasknetz was born to Jack and Pauline Paul 50 years ago in Walla Walla, WA. She passed away in her home on Nov. 22, 2008. Laurie had lived most of her life in Washington, all but 10 years in Alliance, NE. Laurie loved all her family and friends. She enjoyed outdoor camping events and family get-togethers immensely. Laurie loved to travel and explore the mountains, rivers and the ocean. Laurie excelled at dancing to be the first on the dance floor and last to leave. Laurie’s special interest were the back yard animals, feeding and providing water and a safe place to visit. Sometimes stray dogs and cats would seek shelter under her protective care. Laurie touched many lives and will be missed by all who knew her. Laurie is survived by her loving husband David Vasknetz of Tumwater; Father and Mother, Jack and Jenney Paul of Collage Place, WA; a brother, Steve Paul of Walla Walla, WA; two sisters, Sue Walker of Oak Harbor, WA and Beth Johnson of Richland, WA; numerous nephews and nieces.
