I was her caregiver for quite some time. Marie always would eat her dessert first as life was too short :) She was one spunky lady. I miss her a lot.

So many hours playing cards in the old days,we spent many nights playin pinochle and cribbage and Marie didn't care if she won or not, just to have everybody happy. I remember she used to say lord I have been everywhere and seen all I care to see, you can take me anytime, but not today I have to much work to do! That was Maries outlook on life! Thanks for the memories.

Aunt Marie, that truly wonderful and loving person! She always had a can-do attitude and she instilled that in me. Oh, the summers spent at her house, in that loving environment - playing in the woods, the fabulous baseball games (Kenny wanted to be Mickey Mantle!) -- the guys even let me play in the infield! George and I were always conspiring some grand plan. "Winky" was a favorite of all the cousins -- she had a heart of gold and great wisdom. Aunt Marie believed in me and with thanks to her I felt I could do anything. I miss you, Aunt Marie and love you dearly.

I loved Aunt Marie's laugh, she had a little mischief in it. I too really enjoyed the picnics and birthdays we used to go to. Does anyone remember the Merry-go-round cake? My mom used to give her such a bad time about it. Aunt Marie, Uncle Jim, Mom and Aunt Ida taught me how to play pinnocle and I really liked having her as my partner. I remember when our family went to SeaTac and welcomed them home from the Phillipines. I learned my love for gardens from her and Aunt Bert. She touched all of us and we will miss her. She was one in a million.

Always lots going on at the Turner house. Aunt Marie welcomed everyone with open arms. We cousins gave you a bad time once in awhile just because it was so much fun to tease you. The family reunions and 4th of July picnics will always be remembered as some of the best memories ever. Thank you for letting us invade your home for those wonderful times.
My son David shared his birthday with you, Aunt Marie, and always got a kick out of calling you and wishing you a happy birthday. Of course, he doesn't remember peeing in your hand when he was brand new. You just had to undress him the first time you saw him didn't you.
You are in a better place now and I'm counting on you to keep my mom under control. Please remind her that she is suppose to let me know what the winning lottery numbers are.
Thank you Aunt Marie for all the love you gave the whole family, you will be greatly missed.

There is so much to say about Aunt Marie. I gave my daughter her middle name (Jeanne Marie) I loved the times we had our reunions there. Aunt Marie always fussing with us kids. The baseball games in the field. Her great smile and laugh. The outhouse!!! you guys always scared us in there!!! Aunt Marie would yell at you all to come back when you took off in the woods and left us little ones behind. Boy were we pests! Her love for Himey and Linda. She had so much love to give. I know she was a wonderful example for all of the nieces and nephews on what was important in life, love, family, strength and passion for standing up for what is right, never give up, look to the positive and make lemonade when all you have are lemons. I will always remember her as a strong and beautiful women full of life who made a definite impression in my life... Thanks Aunt Marie for all that you gave me. Love you.

I always knew I could get a hug or a cookie from Aunt Marie. No matter whos kid it was you knew you had to behave or you would catch it for sure.
If you got her at the right time she would tell you family stories and little things about her brothers and sisters, especially the one who was your parent.
Her house was always fun to be at and filled with love. We will all miss her.
