Amy,
I ran across this very sad news. I fondly remember the Boos girls from West High. I send my sincere condolences, Beth was one of the most kind persons I recall. By coincidence, I am located in San Jose, so perhaps sometime I could say hi in person on a happier occasion.

Dear Amy, Tom, Jessy and Jilly,
I am shocked and saddened to hear of Beth's passing. I'm so sorry that such a delightful and wonderful person has gone, and find comfort knowing that Beth made the world around her a better place. I have so many fond memories of the times we shared in high school and college, particularly how she always made everyone laugh! She was one of a kind. May peace be with your families at this time - I hold you in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Amy and Tom,
I cannot adequately express my sadness and shock in the passing of Beth. The entire Degnan family sends their sympathy to you and your family, Pat, Scott, Jessica, and Jillian.
Even though we’ve lost touch over the years you have remained in my heart. I was recently reminiscing about Bethy and was telling how she seemed to never walk anywhere; rather, she bounded with the energy of the young. And yes, her laugh will forever be a pleasant ring in my ears.
I am so sorry your time with her was short but am grateful that I had the opportunity to know and love her.

We were so saddened to read about Beth's passing. Beth and the girls rented from us for a very short time after her seperation. They were such a breath of fresh air to the neighborhood. Beth was such a loving mother and we adored the girls. I remember them sneaking across our backyard to swing in Nanci's hammock next door, looking around to see if anyone saw them. We told them that Nanci would love to have them use it. One evening we were in the back yard when a nest with baby squirrels fell down. The girls rushed over to look to see what it was. Jim went over and explained that they had fallen and that we shouldn't touch them. Later Beth gathered Jill and Jess up to give them their baths. We were still on our patio when they came out in their nightgowns with Beth to say "goodnight squirrels, etc." We treasured that moment. When Beth told us so apologeticly that they were moving back in their old house she had Jill & Jess draw us pictures of the duplex and our little dog. We knew the 3 of them so briefly but remember them so completely. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends whose lifes she touched.

Dear Amy and Tom, Jessie and Jillie-
Mary Lou, Roger, Mark, Michael, and myself want you all to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have spent an emotional Thanksgiving, as I know you have too, reminiscing about Beth and the wonderful memories we will always carry in our hearts. My mom and dad remember the dear girls that came into our home, the smiles and laughter that warmed our lives. I will always cherrish the weekend we recently spent together...Amy, Beth, Judi, Linda, Steph, Sue, and Jennifer. Even though we knew Beth wouldn't be with us much longer, the laughter prevailed the tears. All of us together and sharing memories of 30 years, finding the strength to appreciate our friendship, is a true testement of Beth's presence and the gift she gave us all. The appreciation of life, laughter, and a smile. The void in our lives will never be filled. Our love goes out to all of you.

During this time of "Thanksgiving" it is hard to see our beautiful Beth leave this world we live and go before us. We have no way of knowing the mind of God. We have no way of understanding completely His plan or purpose for our lives. We just can't comprehend all the things God does and will continue to do in situations like Beths passing that we survivors live through. It is hard to imagine how to "give thanks" when we feel the pain of saying goodbye to someone we all loved. I do believe that is just exactly what Beth would want us all to do however. To give thanks. Thanks for the life of friendship and love she gave to each one of us, making our lives fuller. We will miss our dear Beth, and I WILL be thankful for the years of laughter and love she shared with me.
Amy, and family.....please accept my deepest condolences and know that my heart and prayers are with you especially today as you give Beth back to God laying her to rest forever in his arms. She is well again.
God Bless you all!!

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the Turnbull/Boos family. Shelby plays soccer with Jessie and we were so sorry to hear the news of Beth's passing. I loved standing on the sideline with Beth and cheering the girls on and joking around. She was a sweet woman and a good mother. I missed not seeing her on the sidelines this past season. I did get to visit with her during one game she came to with her sister, Amy. I am so grateful that I was able to see her. May the Lord bless all of you during this time of grief and know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
