Obituary of Simeon Elliott Andrew Talen

Simeon Elliott Andrew Talen Simeon was born on April 8, 1966, in Seattle, Washington, to Daniel and Linda Talen. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, to barbecue, world wars history, westerns, travel, gardening and practical jokes, but most of all he enjoyed and treasured his family. Simeon and Elizabeth had known each other since they were children and married in August of 1991. Simeon was a loving, caring, and very playful husband and dad, teaching his children never to lose their Peter Pan in life. He was fearless in so many ways: a survivor of cancer, personal challenges, being comfortable about who he was and being full of laughter and wanting to live life to the fullest. Elizabeth was not only his wife, but his best friend and the love of his life. They shared 20 years of joy and heartaches but they did it together, always a team. For Elizabeth-- When the moon’s light glistens from your eyes, light darkens to a bloody blackness. “BOOM” A brilliant flash of colors: blues, greens, yellows and reds that swirl around throwing off sparks and flares, shooting across the heavens that scream your name. It starts to fill all the emptiness with your love and kindness. The sun rises with a new outlook on itself. The new universe opens up its gloriousness of your love standing there with your wide open arms reaching out for me.
