Obituary of George A. Tafoya

George A. Tafoya George A. Tafoya died unexpectedly June 25, 2012 at home doing what he loved most, gardening. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 53 years, Shirley; son; Terry Tafoya (Deb); daughters, Tina Pearson (Paul) and Yvonnda Cordts (Mike); 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and one on the way; and his most loving companion, Kujo, who was never far from his side. George worked for Lakeside Industries upon his retirement 15 years ago as a paving foreman. He was in the paving industry for more than 50 years, starting out with Olympia Oil and Wood. People always remembered his smiles and graciousness and his sense of humor, his BBQs, his amazing flowers, and most of all his Christmas displays.
