Obituary of Marcel Szyszkowski

No visitation Marcel Szyszkowski June 3, 1955 – June 7, 2007 Marcel Szyszkowski, age 52, passed away on June 7, 2007 after a nine year battle with Gastro-Intestinal Stromal Tumor cancer. He was a part of many different medical trials throughout his battle and helped advance the science by taking part in Gleevec and Sutent medical trials. Marcel was born in Warsaw, Poland and has lived in Olympia, WA for his last 18 years. He is survived by his daughter Bianca, 21, and his son Paul, 15, mother and father Zdzislaw and Barbara (Laszczyk) Szyszkowski.
