Obituary of Richard F. Szymarek

Dick Szymarek was born on August 7, 1950 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and passed away at his home in Shelton, Washington on March 22, 2008. He kept his wonderful smile and sense of humor to the very end. The last 4 ½ years of his life living with cancer was an inspirational journey for his family, friends and co-workers. This journey wasn’t always easy, yet he rarely ever showed it. He will be remembered for his courage, his will to live, to love and to give to others. Surviving Dick are his wife, Linda Szymarek (Oestreich), son David Szymarek and his wife Diana and granddaughter Emma of Spokane, Washington, and son Mark Szymarek also of Spokane. Dick is also survived by his Brother Tom Szymarek and wife Janet of San Diego, California, sister Mary Touney and husband Mike of Lake Lotawana, Missouri, sister-in-law Debbie Lapp (Oestreich) of Cedarberg, Wisconsin, brother-in-law Kevin Oestreich and wife Kathy of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and mother and father-in-law Richard and Jeanne Oestreich of Winterhaven, Florida.
