Obituary of Harriett Stutzman

Harriett Ann (Bowman) Stutzman May 4, 1941 — July 5, 2009 Harriett Stutzman, 68, was called home by her Lord at Roo-Lan Nursing Home peacefully in her sleep at 1:05 p.m. July 5, 2009 in Lacey, Washington. She was born May 4, 1941 to Harry and Mabel (Boyd) Bowman in Olympia, WA. She was an excellent seamstress and an avid gardener that loved flowers. On July 10, 1959 she married Larry Stutzman who survives. She retired as cook from Tumwater School District, Tumwater, WA. Including her husband, Larry, Harriett is survived by her sons, Duane (Kimberly) and Tracy (Monica); daughter, Nancy Morlan (Rick); nine grandchildren; sister, Diane Ford of Seattle, WA and Beatrice York of Walla Walla, WA, and sister-in-law, Arlene Bowman of Tumwater; also many friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard; and a 3 ½ year old son. A celebration of Harriett's life will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2009 at the Tyee Event Center, 5757 Littlerock Road, Tumwater, WA 98512. All are welcome.
