Obituary of Onibe Stout

Those who wish may pay their respects at a viewing before the service beginning at 10:00 am. Onibe Stout 72, of Olympia died March 26, 2010. Onibe was born March 29, 1937 in Franklin, North Carolina to Robert Theodore and Mary (Haskett) Elliott. She was raised in Olympia and attended Olympia High School. She lived in California for a period of time but returned to Olympia in 1975. In 1977 she married Jerry Stout who preceded her in death in 2003. She worked as a waitress at both King Solomon’s and the Tyee Hotel. She loved horses and was dedicated in caring for her mother before her death.Survivors include three sons, Fred Carpenter III, Las Vegas, Nevada, Gary Carpenter, Rochester and Robert “Bobby” Carpenter, El Paso, Texas; three daughters, Cathy Hogman, Lacey, Cherie Bradner, Lacey, Cheryl Avery, Rochester; three brothers, Dewey Elliott, Olympia, Edwin Elliott, Olympia and Tom Elliott of Rochester; also sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
