Obituary of Albert K. Stone

Albert K. “Buzzy” Stone, 60, a longtime resident of Rochester, lost his battle with melanoma cancer at his home on Friday, October 13, 2006. He was born May 11, 1946 in Rockland, Maine to Albert George and Dorothy Belle (Hyler) Stone. He had owned and operated Buzzy’s Truck and Diesel Repair and Grand Mound Diesel, Inc. before retiring in 2004 due to his health. He enjoyed race cars, hunting, fishing and especially playing with his grandkids. He is survived by his son, Ryan; daughters, Jessica Stone and Cassie Voss, and son-in-law, Kenneth Voss all of Rochester; brothers, Stanley of Manchester, NH, Arnold and Barry both of Boron, CA., Jerry of Camden, ME; sisters, Mona Monaghan of Port Clyde, ME, Laraine Crute of Cushing, ME, Jennifer Arsenault of Tewksbury, MA., Lola Reinhardt of Tenant Harbor, ME and Nola Glidden of Waldoboro, ME; and four grandchildren, Teagan Voss, Colton Voss, Raylynn Stone and Drake Stone. In addition to his parents, one brother, Ray and a sister, Marlene all passed away before him. Buzzy will be remembered as the worlds greatest Dad, Papa, Brother, and Friend.
