Obituary of Ralph Charles Srsen

RALPH CHARLES SRSEN We’ve known much of happiness, we’ve had our cup of joy, and our memory is God’s gift. Ralph Srsen joined Jesus in heaven Monday, September 20, 2004. Ralph was born February 18, 1933 in Owatonna, Minnesota to Louis and Betty (Kubat) Srsen. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 50 years, JoAnne, and family and friends. He grew up in Minnesota, played football and basketball in school. He joined the Army and married JoAnne. They owned and operated Ralph’s Mobile Station. They enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and hunting. 29 years ago the family moved to Olympia, WA where Ralph sold cars. Ralph enjoyed traveling to Arizona and to Minnesota spending time with family and friends. Ralph leaves behind his wife, JoAnne Srsen of Mother Joseph Care Center in Olympia, WA; 6 sons, Greg (Lisa), Ron (Pam), Chuck, Dan (Kelly), Terry, all of Olympia, WA and Tom (Corine), of Federal Way, WA; 1 daughter, Karen Srsen, of Wenatchee, WA; grandchildren, Aileen Fabian, Ashley Srsen, Scott and Amy Srsen, Danielle, Kaylee Srsen, Jonathan Srsen all of Olympia, WA and Lauren Srsen, of Federal Way,WA, Chrissy and Jeremy Philphott, of Kalama, WA, Kevin Philphott, of Missouri; 1 brother, George (Dorothy), of Eauclair, Wisconsin and their children, Wayne and Georgina, and many other nieces and nephews in Minnesota and other family members. A graveside service will be held Friday, October 1, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Sonrise Church, 2805 Boulevard Rd. SE. Olympia, WA.
