Obituary of Patricia D. Sortor

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The Masonic Lodge, 521 North St. SE, Tumwater Patricia D Sortor "Granny", age 73 passed away on March 17, 2007 from complications due to diabetes. She was born on December 12, 1933 in Aberdeen, Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50+ years, Robert Sortor, her son Robert Sortor and grandson Bryan Sortor. She is survived by: Her brother Grant Newell of Elma and sister Shirley Korst of Hoquiam; her daughter Kathy Sortor of Tumwater and her dear friend of almost 50 yrs, Sally Graham of Tumwater. Her grandchildren: Allen Lovely of Tumwater, Jeff & Becky Lovely of Olympia, Rob & Taralyn Sortor of Olympia, Kristina Brown of Priest River, ID, Kris Ceniceros of Stedman, NC, Nikki Ceniceros of Tumwater, Lisa Sortor Hoquiam, and Toni Sortor of Hoquiam. Her great grandchildren: Abby Jenkins, Kailyn Sortor, Aarika Lovely, Ashlee Lovely, Jesse Lovely, Sydney Sortor, Alison Lovely, Kyler Lord, Bryan Lord, Narissa Sortor, Dillan Lord, Alexzandria Sortor. She retired from the WA State Dept of Fish & Wildlife and attended monthly luncheons with other retired co-workers. She was involved with her church, was an active member of the Red Hat Society, a past president and Woman of the Year with the American Business Women’s Association, and also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007. There will be a viewing at 9:00 am at the Masonic Lodge on North Street. Graveside services will be held at Mills & Mills Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Littlerock Rd, Tumwater at 11:00 am, with a Memorial Service and Reception at the Mountain View Church Of The Nazarene, 940 Israel Rd SW, Tumwater at 12:00 pm.
