Obituary of Jefferson B. Sortor

none <Jefferson “Jeff” Sortor 5-21-1945 - 7-11-2011 Jeff was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on May 21, 1945, the fourth of six sons born to Syral S. and Anna G. Sortor. Following a family tradtion, he was a 7th generation carpenter. Jeff passed away July 11, 2011 in Tukwila, Washington. Jeff had worked in the family carpentry trade for many years. He enjoyed wood working and working on his El Camino. He will greatly missed by his family, who remember him for his being very outgoing,generous and forgiving. He was married to June Henderson they later divorced and he married Norma (Wells) and they also divorced . He was preceded in death by his father, his oldest brother George and his youngest brother Charles. Jeff is survived by his Mother Anna Sortor, daughter, Sarah Rose Doxsee and her husband and Chris; son Joseph Sortor and his wife Kim; grandsons, Dillion and Isaiah Doxie all of Centralia, WA; His three brothers, Gary and wife Linda of Yelm; Mike of Shelton and Steve and his wife Laura of Texas; 2 grandchildren; and his former wife June Henderson. A Graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 19th in Yelm Cemetery, Yelm, Washington. Please leave your remembrances on the guest book below.
