Obituary of Pansey Marie Slyter

9:00 AM to 11:00AM prior to the service. Pansey Marie Slyter Pansey Marie Slyter, died at the age of 69 on October 25th 2008 at her home in Yelm, Washington. She came into this world June 29th 1939 born to Tilden and Louise (Lewis) Green in Bloomfield Missouri. She grew up in Puxico, Missouri and attended school there. She later moved to Imperial Valley California and married one Frank Robinson. Together over the next ten years they had four children Sherry, Sally, Miranda, and Frankie. Pansey loved children and raised many foster children. She was very involved with her church. She was a Sunday school teacher and a Missionett leader for many years. In 1977 she met Robert Slyter over the phone and corresponded with him by mail for a while. She later moved to Washington and married Robert at the Chapel in the Woods in Roy Washington. They had one son, David. They lived in Tacoma until 1988 then moved to Yelm where she lived her life with her family. She was a sweet and loving wife to her husband for over thirty years. She loved being married and doing everything together with her husband. She adored her five children and all her grandchildren whom she talked with and loved hearing all about there lives. Pansey enjoyed decorating and making her house a home. She lived a simple country life and often said you can not buy the most important things. She loved animals, especially Chihuahuas. Her first Chihuahua was given to her by a daughter. Pansey proceeded to raise them for years after as a part of her family. Pansey is survived by her husband Robert; by three daughters and her son, Sherry, Sally, Frankie, and David; her brother John; ten grandchildren, Jessica, Angie, James Albert, Marie, Erica, Lance, Dominick, Kyle, Emily, and Madison; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Tilden, her mother Louise and her daughter Miranda. We will always love and miss her.
