Obituary of Donna Jean Skaarer

Donna Jean Skaarer Donna, 80, passed away Sunday, December 12, 2010, at home in Lacey, WA. She was born August 6, 1930, to Jack and Catherine Allen in Seattle, WA. She attended high school in Ballard, and then went on to business school where she studied accounting. She worked in the bookkeeping department of Safeway’s main office in Bellevue, WA, for several years. She also worked as an auditor for Labor and Industries in Seattle and Olympia until retiring in 1995. Donna was a caring, generous and loving person who is survived by her husband Harold Skaarer, sons Bob and Jeff Navin, her step children Lori Gamman and Thomas Skaarer, and several grandchildren. Donna enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as the people she came to know from the Saturday night service at the Church of the Living Water.
