Obituary of Nona Settell

Nona Evelyn (Koon) Settell 08/09/1927 – 09/23/2010 Nona was a nurse for almost fifty years; She saw a lot of joy and she saw a lot of tears. Nona offered comfort nearly every day, She really was a hero, in an unassuming way. Shy and charming, bright, and disarming, She was all of these. Gracefully living, loving, giving; She always tried to please. You can’t take riches with you; we’ve often heard it said; But Nona takes the wealth of our love with her instead. We are Sister-Geraldine Hunt, Grapeview, WA; Children-Loree & Paul Byers, Shelton, WA; Mike Settell, Pocatello, ID; David and Yongli Settell, Newark, CA; Grandchildren; Katy & Robert Griswold, Rebecca Bilboa, Adam Settell, Chris Settell; Great Grandchildren; Skye Byers, Donavyn Hill, Tristen Griswold, and Eliot Byers. She joins Parents – Gerald & Mirriam Koon, Brothers – Raymond and Floyd (Ike) Koon, and Sister – Abby (Koon) Balthazor.
