Obituary of Ronald R. Selvick

None Ronald R. Selvick, Jr., born January 16, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois, died June 2, 2006. On April 1, 1996 he married the former Sherry Sizemore who survives. In addition to his wife, Ron is survived by his daughter, Anna; son, Royston J.; father, Ronald R., Sr.; sisters, Dorothy Olson and her husband Louie, Karen, and sister-in-law, Leann Doussett and her husband, Rick and their two children Andy and Blake; brothers, Stewart and Brian; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; his mother-in-law, Oma Sizemore. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bridget. Ron was an automotive technician most of his life. He started and ran a successful automotive repair business for 8 years. He loved fishing, hunting, snowmobile riding, camping, Harley riding, and putting on the annual Mayfield Lake fireworks show which he initiated, and many other outdoor hobbies. His passion was riding his Harley on the open road and being with his friends. Ron had made so many special, life-time, friends who came together and gave him so many adventures in the last few years which made his life complete. Please join us in a celebration of his life at 12:00 noon, Thursday, June 8, 2006 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1021 Boundary St SE, Olympia with graveside committal to follow at Calvary Cemetery. A potluck reception will then be held at Black Lake Grange Hall, Olympia.
