My sympathy and condolences to Sheri and to Gene's family. I am a Seibold cousin from Wisconsin. I was saddened to recently hear of Gene's passing. Gene was a descendant of Harry Seibold Sr. who was born in Greenwood, Wisconsin. Harry later became the founder of the greater Seibold family in Olympia, Washington and surrounding area. Gene leaves a wonderful legacy and he will be missed by many. The postings in this book are a testimony that Gene's life touched many, and that he will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers with you all. Allan Hodnett, Wisconsin. <Ahodnett@aol.com>

My dad was the "MOST" amazing person one could ever know....Words cannot express how much I miss him. My dad was one of a kind.....he always put us first before anything. He taught all his kids the importance of serving Jehovah being honest, and a hard worker. Dad gave us SO many great memories of him to cherish forever. My heart hurts for now but I know it is only temporarily. I look forward to the day where I can see my dad again and see that big smile of his and hear his chuckle laugh. Tia keeps saying "Mom lets go drive & see papa Gene in paradise already". I just smile and tell her soon honey. I can't wait till the day when my girls can welcome their papa Gene back and we can give him a big hug and rub his belly. I know that it is only by leaning on Jehovah, family and our friends that it makes it easier to cope w/ this tremendous loss...That is why I "THANK YOU" for everyones support and love shown to my family during this difficult time.
Love,
Marissa Ann

My deepest sympathy go out to the Siebold family. I have known Gene for years and was truly heartbroken when I had heard of his passing. He was the most geniune person, great husband, father, and his grandchildren absoultly loved him. He was a loyal servant to Jehovah and know he will wake up in a truly better place than which he left.
The Seibold family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

My heart goes out to all of Gene’s family. I pray that God will comfort your hearts in this time of sorrow. Although I never really got the opportunity to develop a close and personnel relationship with my cousin Gene, I still to this date remember the first time I met him. It was on or around my eighteenth birthday when I met Gene along with his brother Jimmy. On a few occasions after that day I would see him at my grandparents house and the thing that stuck in my mind was Gene’s hard working attributes, Gene was a mans man, no girly man in him. This world has lost a great guy, but God received home another of His blessed children.

Sheri and family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Gene. I wish we were afforded more time together but I do remember one special memory, Sheri took care of my mom's pup's and (as fate had it), I met my cousin GENE, even though it was brief it was enough to know he was a wonderful person with a loving family. We shared a laugh and an embrace that I will cherish. My prayers are with you and your family Sheri, and I hope you too will reflect on your special memories at this difficult time.

Aunt Sheri and family, I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful and caring husband and father. I can remember the first time I met Gene and how happy he made you. I have very fond memories from the beggining of your relationship and all the family get togethers to follow. I regret that I was unable to take you and Gene hunting this year and can only wonder of the memories we could have made. Uncle Gene always made me feel welcome and loved. I loved the way he would talk hunting with me and share his stories. I have wonderful memories of Gene and he will always be in my heart. I love you and your family very much and will always be here for all of you. Love Jeffrey

Gene's son Jason Phillips is my brother in law. I only met Gene a few times, but they were wonderful. Last year I went to visit Leah and Jason in Washington, Gene and his wife took us all out to dinner at a beautiful restaurant. Gene was laid back and funny, The kind of person you meet and can just sense the warmth and love they have for their family. He had a kindness in his eyes. We were all truly blessed to know him. Thank Jehovah we have the resurrection hope. Someday very very soon we will all see him again. And on his face will be the love and kindness and warmth he has always had. I am so sorry to all in his family. I love my brother in law so dearly and my heart broke for him, for you all, when I heard. Trust in Jehovah, he will help us all make it to the New system, when the pain will be all but forgotten, and we have our Gene back.

Sheri I was so honored that you asked me to be your maid of honor at Gene and your wedding. I was looking over the pictures. You so cute and Gene so handsome nearly 25 yrs. ago. I thought of what a hard worker you have always been. I cried for you and your kids wondering how to handle something like this as I am losing my husband to his terminal illness. Jehovah will help us both and the new system is around the corner. Your easy to love so you will have many friends support you. See you very soon.
