Douglas Seabourn Douglas Grey (Coach) Seabourn , 43, the most amazing Daddy, to Tianna, Forrest, Savanna, Brianna, and so many kids that called his house home; one and only love, husband and best friend to Denise; and one of Yelm’s most unique and loved community members, suddenly passed away May 27, 2009. Doug was born August 7, 1965 to Forrest Douglas Seabourn and Sharon Jane Hall in Eastland, Texas. He graduated from Cisco High School in 1983. He married his high school sweetheart Denise Yvonne Hensley in 1984. Doug worked in the oilfield as a young man and when his wife joined the Army they began their travels around the world. During their 25 years of marriage, Doug worked as a bus driver, heavy equipment operator, and finally as a Sports and Recreational Specialist. He loved his job at Ft. Lewis welcoming home the deployed soldiers in ceremonies at “his” gym. He had a deep respect and love for all those who served. He spent the majority of his life coaching youth sports, umpiring, and being a father to every child who needed one in the neighborhood. He loved to play baseball, softball, and be the only one who knew everything in the world. There are so many kids whose lives he touched. He had a passion for doing everything 110%. The joy of his life was his family. Doug, Denise and their four children traveled the world together enjoying every moment of all life had to offer. He will be missed by all who knew him. Doug is survived by his wife, Denise Yvonne Seabourn; children, Tianna Kay, Forrest Douglas III, Savanna Leigh, and Brianna Necole Seabourn; mother, Sharon Seabourn of Cisco Texas; brother, Johnny Dale Seabourn and his family of Springtown, Texas; sister, Sherry Beth Seabourn and her family of Cisco Texas. Countless cousins, Uncles, Aunts and loved family in Texas.; his father, Forrest Douglas Seabourn preceded him in death. There will be a memorial service for Doug at VFW field, Yelm Washington Wednesday June 3, 2009 at 4:00 p.m. Please bring your wonderful memories to share. Funeral services will be at Corinth Cemetery 5:00 p.m. on June 9, 2009 in Cisco, Texas.
