Obituary of Ileen Joyce Schumaker

NA Ileen Joyce Schumaker Ileen 72 a four year resident of Yelm passed away, Sunday August 14, 2011 in her home. She was born to David and Bertha Richardson December 7, 1938 in Bellevue, Washington. She graduated from Olympia High School. Ileen married Alvin S. Schumaker, May 25, 1957 in Olympia. He preceded her in death September 13, 1986. She was a Business Entrepreneur having had interests in Antiques, Miniatures, Restaurants and jewelry. She enjoyed camping and loved living in her motor home and enjoyed wintering in Quartz site, Arizona. She also enjoyed beads, teaching crafting classes at RV rallies, Dollhouse miniatures. She was a scuba diver and was the first female NAUI instructor in the state of Washington. Ileen enjoyed the beach and hood canal and loved each of her bichon dogs, especially Sassy. Ileen was a member of the Eagles, Elks, and Moose Lodges, the FMCA and holiday Ramblers RV Clubs.
