Obituary of Cynthia Lynn Schultz

Cynthia (Cindy) Lynn Schultz, age 49, passed away January 7, 2011 at Providence St. Peter Hospital, after a long and courageous fight with cancer. Cindy was born in Moline, IL on February 14, 1961 to Alvin and Joyce (Hope) North. The new family moved to Tumwater, WA when Cindy was 6 months old. Cindy graduated from Tumwater High School in 1979. Her career started in retail, selling fine jewelry. Eventually she found her niche working as a Customer Service Representative at the Department of Printing for the State of Washington. About 10 years ago her family moved to Chehalis, WA. Cindy is survived by her husband of 18 years, Robert; two married daughters, LaCinda Jenson (Joe); NaTasha Felt (curry); a son, Justin; and stepson Josh. Cindy was so proud to spend this past year as a new Grandma of two little Grand-babies, Hope Jenson and Alex Schultz. Also surviving is her mother, Joyce North (Jerry); her father, Al Hope; and brother Stephen Hope. Preceding her in death was a brother, Roger Hope. Cindy loved spending time with friends, camping, boating, travel, shopping, crafts, relaxing at home and caring for her family. Cindy will be long remembered, and greatly missed, by her loving family and the many wonderful friends she has made over the years. Many of you have been so emotionally supportive and generous throughout her long illness. Saying “Thank you” is not enough. Cindy has requested her ashes be scattered in a stream, privately, by her immediate family. Donations may be made to the “Hope for Cindy Fund” to help with medical expenses at her Celebration of Life or at any WSECU location, account # 5719518.
