Dear Saari Family,
My prayers and thoughts are with you during this very tough time. I met Steve during college through my roommate Deb Fancher (maiden name Coates). She let me know about Steve's passing and I had to add my condolences. I believe we'll see each other again someday, but until then it's time and love of family and friends that get you through. God bless you all.

I am shocked and saddened that Steve has walked on. Hopefully he is still playing golf. I had the privilege of playing with Steve a number of times, and whether it was competition or just for fun, he was great to play with. He was always supportive and humorous and couldn't wait to play the next hole, no matter what disaster had visited the previous one. He will be missed.

He seemed like a very special person. You are in my thoughts and prayers are as you face this difficult and challenging time. If I can help in any way please call.

Dear Janice, Saari family and the Ersking family,
Even though I was not part of the family anymore when you two were married it was a pleasure getting to know Steve at some of the family gatherings. Steve had a very kind heart. I would go into the bank and he would come over and we would chat and catch up on the family. He will be greatly missed.
With much love, Robin Fink (ex-sister-in-law)
