Obituary of Andy D. Russo

Andy Daniel Russo May 19, 1979 – October 27, 2008 Andy Daniel Russo was born May 19, 1979 in Panama City, Panama to Efrain and Cynthia Russo. He lived with his parents and 2 sisters at their home in California from 1989 to June 1997. He graduated from Rialto High School in 1997. Andy moved to Olympia, Washington in 1997 where he attended Saint Martins College to get an education in computer science. In 1997, Andy and Kimberly Anderson met and soon fell in love. They married a year later. In 1999 they gave birth to their first child Jesse and decided to grow their family, adding 2 more children Jacob and Alyssa. Andy started working for Lemay Inc. in 2001 as an excavator operator and in 2003 moved into a position as the Systems Administrator. He enjoyed working with computers and was very passionate about his work. When Andy was not spending time with his family or working you would most likely find him on the soccer field. He played soccer the majority of his life most recently in Olympia and Tacoma with both coed and men’s leagues. He was an excellent soccer coach as well; coaching through Chinqually Booters Soccer Club for the past 4 years. He was also an assistant cub master with the Pacific Harbors Council Pack 211 where his boys both are active members and he had planned to take over as the Cub Master next June. Andy was a member of the body of Calvary Chapel of Olympia. He knew the importance of having Christ in his life, accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and believed the promise of salvation that the cross offers us all. Andy will be remembered for his deep love for his family and friends, compassion, sense of humor, passion for soccer and computers, his dedication to his work and willingness to always help others. He is survived by his wife, Kim, their 3 kids, Jesse, Jacob, and Alyssa, his parents Efrain and Cynthia Russo, his 2 younger sisters, Iris and Michelle Russo, grandmother, Maria Del Carmen Russo, his in-laws, Jackie, Paul, and Kenny Anderson, a nephew, Logan Anderson and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
