Obituary of Frederick Rousseau

June 4, 2010 10:00 - 11:00 am Calvary Community Church Frederick Joseph Rousseau October 21st, 1931 to May 27th, 2010 Frederick Joseph Rousseau, 78 of Puyallup, Washington went to be with the Lord after a brief illness on May 27, 2010. He was born October 21, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts to Isaac and Lucy Rousseau. He graduated from Hyde Park High School in 1950 in Boston. He joined the US Air Force in 1950 and retired in 1970 as a Master Sergeant Flight Engineer. He served in both the Korean War and the Vietnam War. From 1970—1980 he was a self-employed mechanic. In 1980 he worked at NC Machinery as a mechanic until his retirement in 1996. Fred was a kind man who never tired of being around his family and friends. He loved meeting with friends for Tuesday morning coffee, going to his favorite restaurant Berryland, sitting in his favorite blue chair with his dog Obie watching his C.S.I shows, and visiting with his family. Fred also loved to spend hours out in his woodshop making all kinds of beautiful and helpful creations. Fred was a member of numerous clubs, one being the Elks club, and he was also a member of Calvary Community Church of Sumner. Fred was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He married Dorothea M. Keefe Rousseau on June 14, 1953 who preceded him in death September 24, 1996. He married again to Sylvia M. Yates Rousseau on December 12, 1998 who preceded him in death March 22, 2008. He is survived by his loving family, daughter Marie (Terry) Rousseau, son Michael (Layne) Rousseau, daughter Barbara (Norman) Navarro, son Gary (Carmela) Buchanan, son Randy (Corrine) Buchanan, daughter Bambi (Greg) Hiron, and son Troy (fiancée Jeannie) Wilson. Grandchildren, Katie Joy Rousseau, Matthew Michael Rousseau, Beau Rousseau, Kevin Navarro, Adam Navarro, Jennifer Lynn Buchanan, Jacquelyn Jean Buchanan, Seth Allen Martin, Jordan Ari Martin, Ashley Lynn Buchanan, Charissa Maye Buchanan, Candice Diana Buchanan, Clarice Juliet Buchanan, Keanu Troy Wilson, and Taylor May Wilson. Great Grandchildren Ayla Rose Navarro, Teagan Emmarie Silver Rousseau, and Chloe May Buchanan. Fred was preceded in death by Grandson, Blair Raymond Buchanan.
