Obituary of Sue Anne Roloff

Sue Anne Roloff Sue Anne Roloff, 88, passed away January 27, 2012 in Olympia, Washington. She was born October 5, 1923 to Andrew Kock and Rosie Sedlak in Ramah, Colorado. She graduated from high school in Denver (1943), and also attended trade school in Denver. She married the love of her life, Ed Erwin Roloff, on October 17, 1944 in Vancouver, Washington. Sue was an aluminum welder and riveter on bombers during World War II. She enjoyed traveling, especially annually to the 2nd Air Division of the 8th Ari Force Heavy Bomber reunions, which were held in a different location every year. She also was a homemaker who loved to do canning and gardening. She also enjoyed bird watching. Sue was a warm, caring and loving person, always with a “ready smile,” who put others before herself. She was always ready to offer up a fresh cup of coffee and cookie. She enjoyed studying the Bible, and loved her poodle, “Lil Bit,” who was always by her side. She is survived by her husband, Ed; son, Randy Edwin Roloff; and brothers, Ralph Wassinger of Austin, Texas and John Boyd of Spokane, Washington.
