Obituary of Hettie A. Roloff

Hettie A. Roloff, 85, of Olympia, WA, passed away April 16, 2009. Hettie was born on March 31, 1924 in Riffe, WA to Allen and Maude (Riffe) Schwartz. She graduated with the Class of 1942 from Mosseyrock High School. On December 30, 1965 Hettie married Melvin Roloff in Olympia, WA.Hettie was a member of our community for over 40 years and worked as an Energy Auditor for Puget Sound Power and Light, retiring April 1, 1989. When she wasn’t working and raising her family, she enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, and was a devoted Christian with membership in the Westwood Baptist Church. Hettie is survived by her husband Melvin; two sons, Allen (Ginny) Bodenhamer and Terry (Sherry) Bodenhamer; three stepdaughters, Linda Smith, Patricia Blowers and Susan Ellis; 5 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Glen, Lenard, and Vernon; and 1 sister, Garnett Davis.
