Obituary of Cheryl S. Rodenbaugh

Cheryl S.Rodenbaugh, 80, of Rochester, WA passed away in Olympia, WA on June 3, 2010 after a short illness. Cheryl Jeanne Slaughter was born June 4, 1929 in Des Moines, Iowa, as the only child to Newell D. and Jemima (Carroll) Slaughter. Cheryl graduated from Napavine High School with the Class of 1947. Cheryl was married first to Donald H. Pearsall, then to Robert E. Rodenbaugh, and also to Roy L. Wright. All three of them preceded her n death.Cheryl worked candling eggs for Perry Brothers in Chehalis and also worked as a Dry Cleaning presser in Centralia. For the last 25+ years of her working career, she tended bar at various taverns in Lewis and Thurston Counties, the last being The Broken Wheel Tavern in Rochester. Cheryl loved jigsaw puzzles, gardening and hooking rugs. She also enjoyed traveling to Idaho and California with her second husband Bob. With her third husband, Roy, she enjoyed frequent trips in their RV to the beach at Grayland. Surviving Cheryl are her daughter, Donna C. Reichert of Rochester; grandson Kirk (Andrea) Reichert of Montesano; great grandchildren, Rose and Faith Reichert; granddaughter, Dawn M. (Erik) Anderson of Tumwater: great grandchildren, Parker and Landon Anderson; son Richard A. (Darlene) Pearsall of Rainier; granddaughter Jacqui (Steve) Spahr of Toledo, WA; great grandchildren, Sandee, Stacie and Thomas Spahr; granddaughter Cheryl (Chris) Herman of Anchorage, AK; granddaughter Nancee (Chuck) May of Yelm; great grandchildren, Genna, Naomee, and Mariah May.
