Obituary of Robert Luis Robinson

Robert Luis Robinson Jr Robert Luis Robinson Jr., born January 25, 1943, passed away at home on December 22, 2008 at the age of 65 from natural causes. Bob, (alias Bull’s-eye Bob) was born in Harvey, North Dakota, to Robert Luis Robinson Sr. and Martha Ester Heib. He graduated from Puyallup High School in 1961. He attended Washington State University and the University of Washington. He was employed by Boeing Aircraft Company before beginning a career in real estate. During a brief marriage, Bob had two children; Todd Michael Robinson of Los Angeles, and Lori Lynn Robinson of Olympia. Bob was a competitive person and king of the one liners. He enjoyed in his life activities of bowling, darts, golf, fishing, bridge, and poker. His favorites during retirement were playing Blackjack and Texas holdem tournaments. He was truly an Ace of Spades. In his last years he enjoyed working for Funtastic Carnivals. Bob was a lifelong patron of the Puyallup Fair, and enjoyed working at the fair as the conductor of the train in Kiddy Land. Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Martha; sisters, Barbara and Karen; father, Robert; brother Chuck. He is survived by his two children, Todd and Lori; a brother, Tom Robinson of Lacey; several nieces and nephews; and a dog named Joker. He will be laid to rest next to his family at a graveside service planned at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, WA on January 8, 2009. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Funeral Alternatives of Washington, 455 North St SE, Tumwater, WA 98501 to help with the cost of the burial.
