I never met a better man than Cliff Robinson.
I had the privilege of sitting next to Cliff and working with him at Mixx96.1fm for the past couple months. Mixx was a better place because Cliff came. Now Heaven is a better place because he's there. He's funny, he's clever, he's helpful. The comfort or concerns of others always seem to be more important than his own.
I don't talk to people much, but I often found myself talking with Cliff and having a good time doing it. We must have chattered a lot, because the office manager dubbed us "the squirrels." I'm often ill at ease around people. Cliff put me at ease. Cliff may not always be felling "up, however he always acts as if he's "up" and thus puts everybody else in a better mood.
Cliff was a self-made man. I guess now he's a self-made angel. Maybe he was too good to remain on earth.
Larry, Sam & Belle: Although you don't really know me, I know your dad, and you can always be very proud that he's you're dad.
Jamie: Although you don't really know me, I know Cliff, and you must be amazingly special because Cliff chose you. May God bless you and keep you and comfort you till you embrace Cliff again in the Celestial Kingdom. May that long wait be softened by the joys of raising your beautiful children.

I wanted to say how saddened I was to hear about Cliff's death and the tragic loss for your family. I never had an opportunity to know Cliff here at MIXX96.1,but when I saw him in the office he always seemed upbeat and enthusiastic about his new job. His passing made me realize how precious life is. I know God will be with you through this difficult time and my prayers are with you and your family.

I feel that I have lost the opportunity to get to know someone who I believe could have made a difference! Cliff only started at Mixx 96 in October of this year, and I believe that he really had a huge potential in the advertising business! Some people got it, and some people don't! Cliff definitely had it, and he will be missed greatly. He had a great personality, and a lot of love in his heart. Please accept my deepest sympathies to the family. My family is praying for you daily!

Jamie, Larry, Sammy and Belle and the family of Cliff,
We are so sorry for your loss- for the loss of a wonderful man, husband and father and friend. Please know you friends here in Olympia are always here to hug, cry, or play with you all. None of us can even believe this, we are all still in shock as well. It is unreal, not fair, and so sad.
I am glad I knew Cliff- I enjoyed the walk in the woods- how he saved Breeze for falling down the hill gave Rainey wood to make a fire. How he told us of his classification of movies with dates. One of a kind your Cliff was. He will be missed.
Our thoughts are with you all.

The hurt never goes away, but it does fade. Please know you have others who love you & need you & lean on them. And don't forget to lean on the One who knows your pain as well as you do. He will carry you through.

Although, I knew Cliff for such a very short time at Mixx 96, I am so sorry for his loss. In the short time I knew him, he touched my heart. He had a selfless love that was evident in every thing that he did. He was always able and willing to do anything that was asked and continually went above the call of duty. He was willing to drop everything he was doing to help me out with the simplest of things. I will always remember the times we spent talking about the most random things, the help he gave me in graphic designing when i was at my wits end, and how he continued to offer his help, I am only sorry I did not have the time to take him up on it, and of course, the special bond we found we shared with Sammy and my daughter being exactly the same age. Nothing will ever replace this wondeful man, but it comforts me to know that he is with our Heavenly Father. I have him and all of his family in my prayers every night.

Jamie you and the kids are in my prayers. Cliff was a great man and tried very hard to take care of his family. He was a great dad and loving husband to you. I can still remember the time that Stephen, me and the kids well 2 of mine were able to spend time together and have lunch and pictures. It was a fun time. I hope you are able to come to terms with his passing and you will be a strong and great mom to Larry, Sam, and Isabelle. Jamie,
Cliff was such a ray of sunshine for his short time here at MIXX96. He was excited and enthused about his new job and talked about his family lovingly...
I'll never forget the first time Cliff and I went out together on a sales call. Cliff was excited to get some tree farms on the air for Christmas. We drove all over Mason County and Shelton and ended up clear at the end of Hartstine Island. We could not find the address he had written down, but he insisted it was there someplace and we turned around and finally found it. It was not the great Christmas destination that it looked like on their website, but Cliff left his card in the mailbox just in case. A couple of weeks later, someone called from there saying they had recently purchased the place and were hoping that by next year, they would have it up and running again to be a family destination like it once was. He was so excited that his efforts paid off and that they had responded. He was looking forward to working with them next year. He did get a Christmas tree farm on the air, however. Schilter's Family Farms advertised with him and I know they will have great memories of working with Cliff to make that happen. It is hard for us here to wrap our minds around the sudden loss and I can only imagine how it is for you. I just hope that with time and good memories, you will be able to go on and find peace. We will all miss him and feel his absence. We wish you all the best...

Just know that you are all in our thoughts. Clif was such a powerful impact on the lives of every one that he came in touch with, & that will never be forgotten. My Son left me in 1989 & the pain never goes away. It lessens, but the memory of all the goodness & love that he brought in to my life stays forever. Clifton's memory will stay that way as well. You have my deepest sympathy. Peace be with you & the children.

In the short time I knew Cliff I was amazed at his ability to gather knowledge. He would come into the Air Studio and we would sit and talk about the copy he had written for clients. He always asked the right questions and learned fast. I was supposed to write a commercial with him this week ... my heart hurts that we won't get to have that conversation. I will miss Cliff. My love and thoughts to all.
