Obituary of William Requa

William Thomas "Bill" Requa William Thomas Requa, 75 of Lacey, died Friday, July 17, 2009 at his home. William was born February 11, 1934 in Tacoma, Washington to William O. and Janet (Mackie) Requa. He grew up in Tacoma and graduated from Stadium High School in 1952. William “Bill” met the love of his life and soul mate, Debbie, in 1982 and moved to Olympia in 1985. On July 20, 1991 he married Debbie (Moorman) Kivi, who survives. William retired after working forty-two years for US West/Qwest. He enjoyed fishing, riding dirt bikes, camping, golf, hunting, boating and spending time with his children, grandchildren and pets. Survivors in addition to his wife include, his former spouse, J. Caroline Requa of Tacoma; four sons, Dale Requa, Todd Requa, Andrew Requa and William Moorman; two daughters, Lori Johnson and Ann Means; also twelve grandchildren.
