Dear Bill: Thank you so much for sending the information about Ida Mae and her passing. She was a special person and I (we) always enjoyed her cheery notes and letters. The last one she sent indicated that she was in a wheel chair and that a friend was writing for her. Then I knew that she might not be here too much longer. We are sad to lose her but surely she is rejoicing in Heaven with her Heavenly Father and Her Saviour and all the loved ones who are already there. " May God bless you, Ida Mae, for all your love and care for so many people through all the years that I have known you." Your cousin, Neva Sturtridge And to you, Bill and all the Family, please accept our love and sympathy.

Special friends constitute a small subset of all of the people we meet and know in life. Bill and Ida Mae are in that category for us. One day, we hope to share a common address in Heaven with the Rearicks, preferably in a nearby room of the "house" Jesus said in John 14 that He was building there for His followers.
Until then, Ida Mae, we will miss you very much. Our profound sense of loss is tempered, however, by the thought that you are no longer confined to the limitations and pain imposed by a diseased body. You earned our respect and our love by the way you lived. May God's Blessing rest on you and your wonderful family now and always.

Bill, Ellen and I were saddened to hear of Mrs. Rearick's passing. We remember well the kindnesses that you both expressed to us on the several occasions of being with you after your retirement. I have been extremely appreciative of your kind and loving support of me as a young faculty member and remember well Mrs. Rearicks wonderful acceptance of both Ellen and myself.
On behalf of David (now a father with our first grandson), Melanie, Joshua and Benjamin, please know that our prayers are with you in the loss of one you loved dearly. I trust you will know the comfort and strength of our Lord Jesus as you go through this period of both loss and adjustment.
Blessings, prayers and love,
Ed
