Obituary of Geoffrey Alan Prozora

Geoffrey Alan Prozora went to be with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 25, 2007 at home. He was born on September 3, 1989 to Donald and Pirjo Prozora of Olympia. He was a junior at Olympia High School. Geoff was a passionate young man with a heart for God. His desire was to become a youth pastor and minister to teens. He was also a gifted musician and songwriter, having written and recorded numerous songs of worship. He had an amazing sense of humor and was somehow always able to make others laugh, even at his own expense. He was an encouragement to others and a great example of a humble servant of God. Geoff is survived by his parents, his sister Anya, his grandparents William and Dorothee Prozora, his aunts and uncles: Merrily Clark, Gary and Paula Pearson, Bill Prozora, Pentti and Arja Tanhuanpaa, and Simo and Pirkko Pihlajamaki, and his cousins, as well as an immeasurable amount of friends. A celebration of life will be given in Geoff’s honor on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2508 State Ave. NE Olympia at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions may be made in Geoff’s name to Emmanuel Baptist Church’s Youth Missions Outreach, to further God’s kingdom.
