Obituary of Jack Prowse

Jack T. Prowse Jack T. Prowse, 81, was born February 15, 1928 in Black Springs, Arkansas and passed February 22, 2009 at his home in Lacey, WA. Jack is survived by wife Peggy; daughters Jackie Simmons (Jerry), Susan DeBlasio (Jim), and Diane Prowse; grandchildren, Julie Roberts (Mark), Jameson Floyd and Kacie Floyd; and one greatgrandchild Megan Roberts; a brother Grover Prowse of McCleary, WA; and a sister Marge Ariani of Olympia, WA. A daughter Debra Jo Floyd preceded him in death. Jack was a Mason, ham radio operator (K7ZGB), IBEW 76, Capitol City Golf Club, and an avid bridge player. He worked as an electrician for Simpson Weyerhauser and many private contractors in the local area starting in the mid 1950s until his retirement in 1990. He served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Japan. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Masonic Center, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater.
