5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Saturday, January 9th, 2010 Funeral Alternatives 455 North St. SE Tumwater, Washington Christopher Provost Christopher Provost was born in Hammond, Indiana on December 11, 1972 and died on January 6, 2010 in his home in Olympia, Washington after a long battle with a lung infection. He lives on through his wife, Heather Provost, son, Ashton Provost, daughter Corleen Provost, and step-sons Jacob and Nathan Rumsey. He also leaves behind his sisters Rebecca and Laura Provost and his brothers Kenny and Mark Provost. His parents Marion and Gloria Provost live in North Carolina. He is proceeded in death by his brother Miles Provost. Christopher graduated from John A. Holmes high school in North Carolina. He then entered the Army and was honorably discharged on June 17, 1996 as a medical specialist. He worked as an emergency room technician until he completed his degree and became a practical nurse. Christopher was passionate about working in the medical field and would often share his medical expertise with family and friends. Christopher enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed traveling the world and cooking a variety of cuisines for his family. Christopher had a fiery and joyful spirit that will be sorely missed. There will be a viewing on Saturday, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. January 9th, 2010 at Funeral Alternatives, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater, Washington for family and friends. There will be a private small family memorial at Tahoma National Cemetery on Friday, January 15th, 2010.
