Obituary of Gary D. Prichard

Gary D. Prichard Gary D. Prichard, of Lacey, died December 8, 2010 due to Alzheimer's at Evergreen Nursing Home, Olympia, Washington where he lived for the last 18 months. He was born August 11, 1934 in Bremerton, Washington to Robert G. and Nell (Byron) Prichard. He lived most of his life in Tacoma, Washington. Gary served in the United States Navy on a submarine. He owned a real estate company. Gary had served as president of the Optomist Club and Board of Realtors in the 1970's while in Tacoma. He was also a member of Tacoma Elk's Club. Among his interests were flying ultra light airplanes and boating. He climbed Mt. Rainier. He was outgoing, happy, and willing to help others. He was also an adventurist, jogger, and a business man. Surviving Gary are his sons, Nathan S., Brian M., and Steven R. Prichard; also 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
