Obituary of Betty Cross Poplack

Betty Cross Poplack Betty Cross Poplack passed away in Olympia, Washington on June 10, 2012. She was born in Bellingham and spent most of her adult life living and working in California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morton Poplack. She is survived by sons, Larry of Olympia and Steve of Walnut Creek, California; daughters-in-law, Susan Poplack and Trudy Teie; grandson, David Poplack of Olympia; and great grandchildren Forest and Ahsha Poplack. She is also survived by many relatives from the Olympia area. Betty was an avid world traveler and enjoyed viewing wildlife, especially elephants while touring Africa. She earned a Masters degree in English from Stanford University and was an educator for over 30 years, retiring from Jefferson Unified School District (Daly City) as a school administrator.
