She was my best and dearest friend and I can't believe sometimes that she left us so early. She helped me bring my son into the world and has been my rock for over 15 years. Her family is my family and my heart aches for them. She was one of those people, that no matter how bad her day was going she would always listen to you as if yours was more important. Her laugh was so contagious and she held nothing back when she did. I love her and miss her. She is truly a treasure that I will hold in my heart and will feel blessed always for having had her in my life.

Elena was one of the most amazing ladies I have ever met! You could walk into HER coffee stand and it was like you were visiting a dear friend at her home-it was just missing the doilies. She has raised beautiful, smart and compassionate childern. You could cry with her or laugh. I got to the point of driving up to her window every morning and just saying what size and how many shots-she just knew what I wanted and needed. my heart goes out to her family at this time. Love you pammy! just remember the 'cashmere bra'

What I already miss most is the morning messages Elana put on the lid of my coffee that Michael brought home each day.

I have know Elena since the Piccolo's days at Ralph's. Elena made the best coffee. No one made a better mocha. I compared all others to hers, but none came close. She was always super nice to my kids and we will miss her very much. I will never forget her sweet laugh. My deepest condolences to Elena's family.

Elena was my first "lady friend" when I moved to Olympia. I was new to the area and looking for work, I talked to Elena about opening my own coffee stand, etc. In just a few minutes Elena could make me smile and offer hope. We shared stories and worries of our families (along with a few hot flashes). I looked forward going to the coffee shop, not for the coffee but for the friendship of Elena. To Elena's family, YOU were her smiles and laughter. You are in my prayers that you find peace.

Elena was a friend of mine for about 12 years. I was considered one of her "Regulars". I am confident that my daily habit was not only for the coffee, but to see "My Friend". She was an amazing woman whose smile, laugh, and conversation was something I always looked forward to and will be remebered forever! Elena was so loving and generous to my family and we are blessed by her life and memory. To all of her family, you were also blessed to have such a wonderful wife and mother. She always lit-up when she spoke of all of YOU. You're in our prayers and God bless.

I miss Elena so much. I don't know where to go in the morning for coffee and kind words. She was always so friendly and cheerful when my eyes were barely open in the morning. I'm going to miss her contagious laugh the most. I loved hearing it. We could talk about anything, even if it was just for a few minutes a day. It meant so much to me. I still can't believe she is gone. I just don't understand it, she was so full of life. My life was richer having known her for the past few years. My deepest sympathy to her family.

Elena was a bright spot in my day. Each morning when I stopped for coffee we would chat about our work, our life, our families. Sometimes we would discuss the state of the world and agree that if only the powers that be let us run things we would have it whipped into shape in no time.
She was so happy to have her son home for Christmas. I'm glad she had that memory. I know how close she was to her family, and my heart goes out to them.
I sure miss her.
