Obituary of Donelda Pickett

Donelda “Donna” Pickett Donelda "Donna" Pickett of Pe Ell, Washington, went to heaven June 27, 2011, after a long battle with cancer. Donna was born in Chehalis, WA, on June 21, 1949, to Robert and Phyllis Zumbuhl of Frances, WA. She graduated from Willapa Valley High School and received an Associate's degree from Centralia College. She was married to Allen Pickett. Donna was a well-loved member of the Centralia Bible Chapel, where she was a Sunday school teacher for more than 20 years. She also worked as a "lunch lady" at W.F. West High School for several years. Donna loved children, doing crafts with them, and enjoyed telling them how to get to heaven. She also enjoyed drawing, painting, knitting, crocheting, cooking at Bible camp, studying the Bible, and reading Lord of the Rings. Donna is survived by her mother, Phyllis Zumbuhl; brothers, Jerry, Brad and Billy Zumbuhl; sisters, Theresa, Sally and Kathy Zumbuhl; daughters, Heather Fuller, Shayla Dyer and Cheryl Polikapu-Medeiros; sons, Scott Granger, Jason Pickett, Ray Fuller and Benny Dyer; and 7 grandchildren.
