Obituary of F. LeRoy Peterson

LeRoy Peterson passed away on September 12, 2007 after a long battle with Cancer. Franklin LeRoy Peterson was born on August 2, 1942 in Spencer, Nebraska to Lyle and Helen (Edwards) Peterson, and he attended High School in Hastings, Nebraska. He lived in Hoquiam and Aberdeen for several years. He has been a resident of Lacey for 5 years.LeRoy was employed as a Truck Driver for Provisioners and for the last 5 years prior to his death, he was an apartment manager. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, flower gardening, his grandsons’ football games, Mariners baseball and coffee time with friends and family at Paco’s Tacos in Lacey. He attended New Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Lacey. Leroy is survived by his sons, Peter and Travis Peterson; a daughter, Wendy Peterson; a sister, Karol Mollett; 8 Grandchildren; and 6 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Kenneth; his parents and grandparents. LeRoy wasn’t a highly educated man, but he had the ability to look at things and know how to fix them, just like his Dad before him. Now he is with his Heavenly Father because he “fixed” his life through Jesus Christ.
