Adora worked as a professional cook at many local establishments, then started a career as the “Lunch Lady” at Boston Harbor Elementary School. Later she moved on to being a Teacher’s Assistant with Olympia School District. After working for the schools, she then went to work for the Sate of Washington. When not working hard, Adora enjoyed Bowling on Leagues and had a Lifetime Family Membership.Surviving Adora are her sons, William B. (Lisa) Pape, Scott B. (Tanya) Pape, Timothy O. (Janice) Pape; daughter, Billie A. (Rick) Mainini; brothers, Floyd and Dennis Canfield; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Adora was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Myrtle Canfield; her husband William Pape; and sister Arla (Canfield) Hurley. Mom really enjoyed her grandchildren, they were always going on little “escapades” to Mt. St. Helens, the ocean beaches, and movies. Mom was especially fond of collecting driftwood and “treasures” from Junk Stores and Garage Sales. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother that wore many coats of many different colors.
