Obituary of Louise Prichard Ohlson

Louise joined her Heavenly Father on January 31, 2005 in Shelton, Washington with her family at her side, her suffering over from the complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Louise was born April 30, 1943 in Moab, Grand County, Utah, daughter of LeGrand and Wilma Behling Prichard. She graduated in 1961 as Valedictorian of Grand County High School. After attending the University of Colorado, she graduated in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Utah. She married Daniel Ohlson, March 15, 1968 in the Salt Lake City Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). Louise loved her family, the “Four Corners Country,” calligraphy, classical music, literature, fine arts, and cats. She was active in the LDS Church and devoted to her church callings, where she volunteered her time in the library and teaching children. Most of all, her children were the light of her life and she cherished her time with them. She dedicated many hours to educational pursuits and fine arts for the Church and home. Louise is survived by her mother of Idaho, daughter Andrea L. (Chad) Luke, Nevada; son, Warren P. (Teresa) Ohlson, Shelton; granddaughters Lillian Isabelle Luke and Brooke Kaylee Ohlson; siblings: Linda (Chris) Anderson of Idaho, Bruce (Lois Ann) Prichard of New Mexico, and Lizbeth (Lance) Williams of Utah; her Aunt, Hope Hills of Seattle, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
