Obituary of Russell Lloyd Nickerson

Russell Lloyd Nickerson Russ Nickerson was born May 23, 1953, in Pontiac, Michigan to Lloyd Edward and Margaret Elizabeth (Campbell) Nickerson. He married Constance Jo Cobb May 28, 1977, in Carbondale, Colorado. He moved to Olympia, Washington in 1990 and worked the last 16 years driving a concrete mixer truck for Holroyd Co. He passed away February 18, 2007 at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. He loved his family and enjoyed all outdoor activities. He is survived by his eternal companion Connie Cobb, Olympia, Washington; son Joshua Nickerson, First Class Midshipman at U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland; daughter Camryn Cobb, Senior at University of Washington, Seattle Washington; father, Lloyd Nickerson of Glenwood Springs, Colorado; sister Dee Fisher of Encinitas, California; brother Kevin Nickerson of Rawlins, Wyoming; and sister Vicki Tate of Fairfax, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his sister Karen Meleta (Nickerson) Frazier; and mother, Margaret Elizabeth Stout. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lacey Fire District 3, 1231 Franz St SE, Lacey WA 98503 in the name of Russ Nickerson.
