Obituary of Judy Nedrow

3:00 pm - 6:00 p.m. Sun. Nov 16, 2008 and 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Sun., Nov. 17, 2008 both at the Masonic Center 455 North St SE Tumwater Judy Darlene Nedrow Judy D. Nedrow, 63, a lifetime resident of Olympia, died of ovarian cancer November 10, 2008. She was born July 29, 1945 in Valley City, ND to Everett and Marian (Maresh) Kiser. She was a 1963 graduate of Olympia High School. On May 18, 1963 Judy married Doug D. Nedrow in Coeur d’Alene, ID, who survives her. Judy worked for the City of Tumwater and retired from the City of Olympia as a Payroll Specialist. Her interests included watching girls fast pitch softball,(Krista, Kassy, and Sammy-Go Girls! and Brian too!), bowling and traveling. She was an avid fan of the Mariners and Seahawks. In addition to her husband, Doug, Judy is survived by her daughter, Kim Nedrow of Olympia; her son, Douglas Nedrow, Jr. of Tumwater; brothers, Ed Kiser (Cinda) of Olympia and Ralph Kiser (Janet) of Rice, TX; sisters, Carol Glover (Syd) of Whidbey Island and JoAnn O’Malley (Mike) of Olympia. Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Marian Kiser and brother, Don Kiser (Shelly) formerly of Yuma, AZ. The family wishes to thank Madigan staff for the EXTRA special care and attention that you gave to Judy; wife, mother, loved one and friend. Also to the hospice staff, we thank you for your care and support. To family and friends who were there day in and day out, night in and night out with their love and support – there are NO words to say thank you. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2008 at Mills & Mills Memorial Park, Tumwater, followed by a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Center, 455 North St. SE, Tumwater.
