Anna Mary Naas
Anna Mary Naas, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010 in Olympia. Anna Mary was born April 17, 1916, in Cridersville, Ohio to Harry and Luella Rehm Burgess. She married Wilson Naas February 8, 1941, and they spent 43 years together before his death in November 1984.
Wilson and Anna Mary made their home in Bluffton, Ohio, where Anna Mary worked as Assistant Registrar at Bluffton College. After Wilson died, Anna Mary moved to the Tumwater/Olympia area to be near her only daughter Elaine and her family. Anna Mary was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star, loved to travel, and her favorite pastime was playing bridge. She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother.
Anna Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Howard (Katheryn) Burgess and her son-in-law Michael Emans. She is survived by her brother Robert (Ruth) Burgess, Cridersville, Ohio, daughter, Elaine Emans; grandchildren, Eric (Heather) Emans and Todd Emans; and the lights of her life, her great granddaughters, Gracie and Annie Emans.
Private services will be held in Ohio at a later date.
