Sandra Moyer

Obituary of Sandra Marie Moyer

Sandra Marie Moyer After a fifteen month battle with colon cancer, Sandra Marie Moyer, a lifelong resident of Olympia, passed away peacefully at home the morning of September 25th. She was 60 years old. Sandy first met the love of her life, William Moyer, when she was 12 years old. When she was 18, they got married and had three children. She died just a few weeks short of their 42nd anniversary. Sandy had a passion for life. She was good at so many things. She loved to read and was knowledgeable about everything. If she didn’t have the answer, she would find it for you. She sewed, knitted, cooked, canned and gardened. Her flowers were something she enjoyed every spring and summer. She also loved to travel with her husband. During their travels, she discovered casinos. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a spring in her step when she was heading out to play. But, her greatest joy in life was her family and friends. She will be remembered as a treasured wife, loving mother, devoted friend, and the world’s best grandma. She was preceded in death by her mother Hazel Myers, her father Delbert Myers and her beloved brother William Myers (Billy). She is survived by her husband William, son William, daughter Kimberly and son-in-law Steven, her son Brian and daughter-in-law Jaki and seven grandchildren who brought her so much joy – Mandy, Sammy, Delaney, Courtney, Noah, Joe and Isabella. She is also survived by her sister Evelyn, brother-in-law Leroy, brother Jerry and sister-in-law Karen. At her request, no services were planned. “Trees receive a most beautiful burial. Nature takes fallen trees gently into her bosom – at rest from storms.” John Muir To leave a condolence click on View Guestbook below:
