I have so many wonderful memories of spending time at the Moss family home when I was a small girl . . . among other things, I will never forget how excited I was when Bob took me riding in his big bright yellow jeep! I am very thankful for those friendships across the miles. I am thinking of you all and praying for you . . . Michelle

The loss of your brother my es husband was an even bigger shock. I found out the day of his funeral sorry I wasnt there, Bob was a good man , a romantic, poet, pilot and lover of the outdoor life. He held a special place in my heart and always will, I will miss him very much.

I met Bob In 1992 through the South Sound Fly Fishers, a fly fishing club in Olympia. We went on many advetures together. Bob always had a heart of Gold. He would be the first person to help you with anything that he could. He had always had a positive outlook. I think he told me at least a couple dozen times "this is the best day of fishing I've ever had".
I always wondered how one person could remember so many jokes and tales about life. I don't think I ever met a person that he couldn't get to laugh or crack a big smile. I moved away a few years back, but continued to receive humerous emails from him. I think when I returned to visit Olympia, I always looked forward to meeting up with Bob.
One of Bob's nicknames is "Beadhead". That's part of his email address. A beadhead is a type of weighted fly used in flyfishing. We were out flyfishing the Yakima River one day. Bob was yarding fish in like they were his pets. I asked what he was using. He said a "beadhead hares ear". Everytime I would ask him, it was some type of beadhead fly. He from then on became known as me as "beadhead" whenever we were out flyfishing or talked about flyfishing. He gave me the fly fishing nickname of "fish-on" as he proclaimed he never grew tired of hearing say that when I hooked a fish.
Bob, thanks for being like a brother to me. I'm honored that you were part of my life. I'm going to miss you, brother.

I knew Bob for about 25 or 30 years. Our paths would cross now and then for a couple of years at a time, then we would go our own ways and then our paths would cross again for a while. I remember that Bob had a very big heart. I know when my mom passed away Bob came over and was with me for hours that night. He was a very good friend. Bob will have a very special place in my heart. I will miss him, but will always remember all the good times we shared as friends. I know that you are at home with our Lord and some day our paths will cross again in the promise land.

I was so sad to hear about Bob's passing, I have known him since school, we graduated together and he as a sly boy, but he certainly came out and was very happy and friendly with everyone. He worked as a security guard for DOH where I work and I know everyone there is sad and not understanding why God took him at such a young age, but I guess it isn't for us to ask why. He is with his mother who he adored and loved every much. He is with God now, but he surely will be missed. God bless to all his family.

I am so sorry Bob passed, he was always cheerful and polite to me. I knew him because I live in the same neighborhood as he did, but also he was the security guard in the DOH building I used to work in. He will be missed.

I have know Bob for ten years. He has worked personnally for me on may different projects during this time. He also was the first
guest (with Dave Eldred) to hunt turkeys on my ranch in Eastern Washington. Bob always had a smile and was all willing to help in any way that he could. He enjoyed just listening and having conversation with a positive twist no matter the circumstances. He was a good and loyal friend. I look forward to seeing my friend again in heaven. May the family look to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for comfort during this time of mourning.

The last I spoke with 'my' Bob was June 29th, as he was explaining why he 'had' to leave our services ~ his heart was in the Taxi business, but he needed financial stability. Bob's heart was in to a job which allowed him to 'visit' with people, as he was a 'people person' - he missed his Mom, horribly, and now, they are together ~ His Taxi customers and our crew will miss his 'tales' and sharing of his philosophies.
Bob was our solid rock, if he said he would be somewhere, he was, always on time, heavens, even early ~
He always was more than willing to help ~ we called him in early one morning, and he showed up quickly, however, he had two different colors of shoes on, we all enjoyed this gaffaw, and the first to laugh was our Bob.
My heart goes out to the family ~ two in barely a month, it has to be difficult.

I met Bob through his grandparents when they moved next to us on the Westside of Olympia. I remember him, and his sister Anne well. Our families were good friends with both his grandparents, and his parents, so saw Bob and Anne often. Although I did not see much of him in his adult years, I have fond memories of the great kid he was.

I met Bob when his grandparents moved next to us on the Westside of Olympia. As I remember it, we were just kids. Although I haven't seen Bob in years, I think back fondly of the times we got together. His sudden passing came as quite a shock especially coming so soon after his mother. Bobby was a very special person.

I first met Bob and Anne when we worked at St. Peter Hospital nearly 30 years ago. I had the good fortune to run into Bob again several times when he worked at Dept of Health where I'd go to renew my nursing license. I will always remember his big smile, friendly demeaner, and ability to tell tall fish tales! Working with Anne and Bob in the 'old days' at the hospital was great fun, made for happy memories, and still reminds me of the friendly small town hospital it used to be. People like Bob (and you too Anne) are few and far between. God bless Bob, Anne and all of his family.

The Bible says that God will only give us what we can handle, but I cannot feel that this family will need all the strength that the power of prayer can and will give. Bob was very special to me,a good friend, nephew and the person I could turn to for any advise that I needed through the 18 years + that I had the pleasure of knowing him. He was a gentle giant of a man that you could count on for anything. Bob was patient, willing to help, and so loving and caring. I loved it when he visited his Uncle Bill and I. I have so many fond memories of that time in my life. He loved to just get into his van and just drive. Inez and Nanny will now have Bob with them. God be with you ; J.B.,Anne and Steve.

We had the pleasure of of being friends with Bob for many years. I (Dave) went on many a hunting trip with Bob over the years; we always had a grand time. It didn't matter whether we were in Eastern Washington chasing turkeys, or here on the west side hunting deer & elk; it was always a great camp when Bob was around. It was also great to have Bob to our house every "Super Bowl Sunday". Those memories will stay with Mardene & I forever. Our hearts go out to JB, Anne, & Steve during this difficult time. You all remain in our prayers. Our feelings for Bob are best described in Phil 1: 3.
