Obituary of Ingrid Morris

Ingrid Morris Ingrid Sofie Dahl Bjorkman Roberts Morris passed away December 26, 2011 in Olympia, Washington. She was born June 27, 1920 to Einar and Sofie (Flagtvedt) Dahl in Bergen, Norway. Ingrid immigrated to the U.S. in 1939. She and first husband Oscar Bjorkman lived in Long Island, NY, Eureka, CA, Midway, GA, Canoga Park, CA, Astoria, OR, and finally settled in Olympia in the fall of 1953. She retired from the State of Washington. She is survived by sons, Gunnar Leif (Doreen) Dahl of Richmond, VA, and Robert Bjorkman of Faribault, MN; grandsons, Alan Preston of Olympia, and Michael Bjorkman of St. Paul, MN; granddaughters, Karen (Joe) Colly of Richmond, Christina Domino of Lawler, MN, and Tiffany Preston of Olympia; and great grandchildren, Taylor, Kendall and Jackson Colly of Richmond. She is preceded in death by husband, Arthur “Bud” Morris of Olympia; daughter, Barbara Preston of Olympia; and grandsons, Robert Preston of Olympia, and Gary Dahl of Richmond.
