Obituary of Carole Morris

Carole Ann Morris Carole Ann Morris passed into the embracing arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday August 11, 2009, surrounded by loving friends and family. Carole was born to John Arnold and Cleone Christiansen, on October 8, 1942 in Snohomish, and later moved to Randle. She graduated from White Pass High School and attended the University of Puget Sound. She worked with the State of Washington House of Representatives for 25 years until her retirement. Carole also enjoyed a second career as a travel agent. Those who know Carole will always remember her as energetic and young at heart. She was a warm and devoted wife, mom, grandma, and friend. She loved to travel-mainly to places having lots of sunshine and sandy beaches. She enjoyed reading, making scrapbooks for her friends and family, and working out at the Valley. Carole is survived by her husband Lynn; son Ross Sheridan (Cherie); daughter Kelli Ristine (Chris); step-sons David Morris and Michael Morris (Amber); sister Bette Harris (Ken); sister Gail Bevans (Wade); and brother Jay Christiansen (Carla); and four grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Westwood Baptist Church, 333 Kaiser Rd. NW, Olympia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
