Obituary of Estelle Marie Moran

Estelle Marie Moran Estelle passed away June 6, 2012 in Tumwater, Washington, where she spent her last 16 years. She was born September 11, 1941 in Jasper, Minnesota to Trygve Madtson and Stella Doran Madtson. She married George R. Moran, Jr. on June 20, 1963 in Tenino, Washington. She was a homemaker for 52 years. Estelle was the family matriarch, a family confidant and a mother to all. She had an endearing personality and was loving, protective, friendly, generous, accepting, compassionate, supportive and considerate. She had a unique sense of humor with an infectious laugh and bright smile. She could also be outspoken, strong willed, and mischievous. She was a smart woman who was also a bit of a fashion Diva. She was a truly beautiful person, inside and out. Estelle enjoyed taking road trips, collecting cow figurines, leopard print, arts and crafts, gardening, embroidery, reading, cooking, online games, music (especially Elvis Presley and Tim McGraw), cooking and old movies. She especially loved spending time with her family and caring for her dogs. Estelle was survived by a large family. She will be greatly missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten by husband, George R. Moran, Jr. of Tumwater; son, Harold A. Moran of Little Rock, Washington; daughters, Robbin L. Bills of Olympia, Billie J. Clary of Tumwater, and Georgie A. Moran of Olympia; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters, Teresa Florek of Tenino, Nancy J. Richter of Rochester, Martha E. Madtson of Centralia; and brother, Daryl J. Madtson of Centralia. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Judith Madtson, Janyce Madtson, Linda Garlinghouse; and brothers, James Madtson and Jon Madtson.
